The workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant funding may be available through a training voucher. WIOA is landmark legislation that is designed to strenthen and imporve our nation's public workforce sytem and help get Americans, including youth and those with significant barriers to employment, into high-quality jobs and careers and help employers hire and retain skilled workers. Services are provided through the stat'es one-stop delivery system, Illinois Work Net Centers.
Visit a workforce center to access employment resources, information about job training and more. Each center has knowledgeable staff that provides assistance to people who need career assistance. Assistance is available to youth and adults. All services are free.
